Tiffani Thiessen Talks Season 3 Of Deliciousness And Her Long Career - Exclusive Interview

Tiffani Thiessen smiling

Many of us grew up watching Tiffani Thiessen in " Saved by the Bell " and " Beverly Hills 90210 " and have followed her career ever since. From her early teen roles to "White Collar" and "Alexa & Katie," audiences have always gravitated toward Thiessen. Now, as the host of "Deliciousness," Thiessen is reaching a whole new audience and having an absolute ball alongside her co-hosts, Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell, and Tim Chantarangsu.

Back for Season 3, "Deliciousness" continues to delight viewers with its hilarious food-related videos and the equally funny reactions of its hosts. The chemistry between Thiessen and her castmates is what makes "Deliciousness" so fun to watch, and it's clear that there's a lot of love among the entire group.

In an exclusive interview with The List, Tiffani Thiessen takes us behind the scenes of the new season of MTV's "Deliciousness," opens up about her roles on "Saved by the Bell" and "Beverly Hills 90210," and reveals what her kids really think about her career.

Working on Deliciousness is a dream job

I'm so excited to talk about "Deliciousness," which is back for Season 3. What are some of the highlights fans can expect from the new season?

A lot more funny content, as usual. The fact that our producers can bring in these videos that are from all over for us to be able to have fun with on the show is pretty genius. It's amazing that we've been doing all these episodes and I still get up there and I laugh. I'm doing it with three very funny people, very charming people. It's a cast that I actually grew and fell in love with pretty instantly, which usually doesn't happen in Hollywood. It really makes it, I have to say, probably the funnest job I've ever had.

You were a teen icon [as Kelly Kapowski in "Saved by the Bell"], and then you've got Angela Kinsey, who is an icon because she's in "The Office," and  Kel Mitchell  [of "Kenan & Kel"] was also a teen icon. Do you ever bond over the fact that you've all starred in these huge shows that people are still rewatching all the time?

That's funny. I guess we probably should, but we haven't. I was always a fan of "The Office" and had never met Angela. [But I] knew her co-star, Jenna [Fischer], a little bit, her and her husband. So I was super excited to actually get to work with Angela because I knew of her, of course.

And Kel, I had never met through all these years. My daughter had seen his movie. I don't think my son's seen it yet, but [my daughter is] very much a fan of his "Good Burger" movie. But [Kel is] a delight. What a gentleman, what a sweetheart, inside and out. The whole cast [was a delight]. Tim [Chantarangsu was] totally new [to me]. I didn't know anything about him, and we probably clicked the fastest. I adore that guy. He is hilarious, and he truly makes me laugh with anything that comes out of his mouth.

What's it been like filming these new episodes?

The only thing that's not fun is my butt having to stand up there in heels while they get to sit on my comfy couch.

Do you spend a lot of time laughing together?

Yes, very much. We usually [shoot] three to four episodes a day. We roll through these hilariously funny, sometimes gross clips and poke fun at the clips, the people, at ourselves. [We tell] stories that might relate to the clips. That's what it's all about. It's really quite fun.

Returning to Saved by the Bell

The "Ridiculousness" franchise is huge now and just keeps expanding. Are there any areas you'd like to see it expand into? And can you see yourself being a part of it for a long time to come?

Good question. I want to continue doing "Deliciousness" because, like I told you, it's truly one of the funnest jobs I've had in my long career — knock on wood. I'd love to do a lot more, and I know they've got other spinoffs that they have done and are continuing to do. My husband was a huge fan of "Ridiculousness" back in the day. He was very excited that they were actually doing a couple different versions of this show, ours being the first one. It was exciting. ... My daughter loved it. My daughter loves the show.

A lot of us grew up wanting to be you, and you got to reprise your role as Kelly Kapowski in the "Saved by the Bell" reboot . What's it been like playing such an iconic character for such a long time?

It was one of the very first roles that I had done. Of course, I was very young when the show started and became a huge success here in the States. Then when we went [world]wide and went all over, and I think it was in 140 countries or something like that, it is life changing. I was 16 years old, traveling all over Europe with Mark-Paul [Gosselaar], meeting fans and doing press and all that. That's a big deal for a 16-year-old. I experienced a lot of crazy things, a lot of cool things. I have nothing but fond memories of back then. Then to be able to create some new fun with the new spinoff that Tracey [Wigfield] had developed for Peacock was really fun as well, and to be able to work with the guys again.

Do you think we might see you as Kelly again, in the future?

Well, I don't know. They did two seasons of the show. They did not pick up the show anymore. I highly doubt it, unless there's some other form that someone ends up coming up with, but I highly, highly doubt it.

Joining Beverly Hills 90210 was 'a little challenging'

Another huge point in your career was "Beverly Hills 90210." What was it like bouncing from one huge teen show to another?

Pretty crazy. Again, I was coming from a very popular kids' show to a very popular teenage, young adult show. It was an interesting progression in the sense that, as different as the roles were, it was super fun. It was definitely very different. "Saved by the Bell" was a half-hour sitcom. [That's] what they called it. The hours were very different, and I was still doing school at the time for most of the season. I would part-time do school and part-time do the show. Then, by the time I went to "90210," I think I was 20, so older, [and the] content [was] much different, and the show was an hour [long]. The actual hours of work were much longer and much harder. But again, super fun.

I've spoken very publicly [about how] it was definitely a little challenging for me to come on a show that was very well established already and be the new kid. But most of the cast was very open and welcoming. Some weren't as much. But that all turned around and got much better towards the end of the first season. Then I finished off all those years with them, and it was great.

You've had an incredible career so far. You've done so much. Is there anything you haven't done yet that you'd still like to?

I'm always looking for something different in my routine. I like to work and I love working with people. I love being an actor. I just love it. I don't think I could ever give it up. As much as I've developed a whole other side with unscripted, to food and a food career and stuff like that, acting will always be my first love.

Her daughter is a Saved by the Bell fan

Do you have a favorite project that you've acted in so far?

That's so hard. You're going over 30 years of different stuff. That's a super hard one. It's also hard because a lot of these shows or movies or whatever are very big parts of different times in my life — from my teenage years being in "Saved by the Bell," and my young 20s being in "90210," and then it's always progressed, to "White Collar" [and] being able to live in New York. That's a definite top favorite show for me because I got to live in New York City, and I had my first child during that show, and that cast is so wonderful. I'm still very close with a lot of them. But it's hard to pick one because they all have meaning to me for many different reasons and different times in my life.

You mentioned before that your kids are fans of "Deliciousness." Do they watch any of your other shows?

My son, not so much because he's so young still. He just turned seven. But my daughter loves "Deliciousness." [She] has watched every single episode. She's also completely watched, from beginning to end, "Saved by the Bell." She's also watched "Alexa & Katie," which was my last show that I had on Netflix. She's watching all of those episodes. She's not ready for "90210" yet. She probably needs to be a little bit older, but she's getting close.

How does she feel watching you on-screen? Is it strange for her, or does she enjoy it?

I don't know. She hasn't really said. Maybe when she was younger, it was a little different for her, but I think she's so used to it now. She's 12. She's grown up having that idea of what Mom and Dad do for a living. [For] some of these shows, she's actually been on set with me. She was on set during "Alexa & Katie" many days, and she was little when I was doing "White Collar." She's very much a part of it. My son, not as much because he came so much later. Then these last couple years, no one could go on set because of COVID, so it's been a little different.

A second cookbook, and more Deliciousness

Is there anyone you'd like to work with that you haven't had the chance to yet?

There's so many. Again, a hard question. The list is probably huge. There's so many people that I admire and would love to get the chance to work with. And that's not even just actors; that's also directors or writers. There's so many. And on the other side of it, working with chefs that I love. ... I feel like I'm still young, that I should have a big list still. I don't want to pigeonhole myself with just one or two. ... I'm 48, and I don't see hopefully any of this ending anytime soon. I really do enjoy working in all these fields. Even the food field that I've recently got into in the last 10 months, I've enjoyed. I just finished my second cookbook, which will be out next fall. It's been a really nice side career that I've enjoyed making a bigger part of my career.

Is there anything else you want us to know about "Deliciousness" before you go?

Like I said, it's a job that I really, really enjoy, and I love working with the cast and the crew and the producers. It's one of those really fun jobs. I highly recommend [the show] to anybody for the end of the day, sitting back with a glass of wine or a beer. [If you want to] be able to not overthink and watch something funny and giggle, this is the show for you.

Tiffani Thiessen On MTV's 'Deliciousness': 'It's Mind-Blowing What People Are Doing'

March 22, 2021 / 11:48 AM PDT / KCAL News

(CBS Local)--  Tiffani Thiessen has been entertaining America since she was a teenager and MTV's "Deliciousness" combines everything she loves to do. Thiessen along with Kel Mitchell, Angela Kinsey and Tim Chantarangsu serve up funny clips featuring everything from food fails to barbeque disasters and comfort food cravings.

Season two of the spinoff of MTV's "Ridiculousness" begins tonight and CBS Local caught up with Thiessen to discuss what this experience has been like for her, why the show works and thriving in Hollywood for decades.

"It's been such a great job. I feel guilty sometimes taking a paycheck because I actually have a lot of fun on this show," said Thiessen, in an interview with CBS Local's DJ Sixsmith. "It's just one of those shows that doesn't feel like work and that's the best. My husband was a huge fan of Ridiculousness, so this is sort of a spinoff of that show. It's all food-based and that's very much up my alley. If people know my past, I'm very much in that food world. It's fun and I stand up there and laugh at some of the stuff that gets put up there on the show."

Thiessen first made a name for herself in Hollywood as Kelly Kapowski in "Saved By The Bell" and has also carved out a niche for herself in the culinary world with a cookbook, a cooking show and now "Deliciousness." Thiessen is blown away by how ridiculous the clips are on the MTV show.

"The food fails I'm more understanding of because it has happened to all of us," said Thiessen. "We have had a dish fall out of our hands or you forgot that something was in the oven and you burnt it. It's some of the other things that I am sometimes shocked by when I see them. That one it's being filmed and two that it's a dare or something. It's mind-blowing sometimes what people are doing. We actually don't watch the videos. I look at my cues and lines and intros, but all of us have done it where we don't like to watch the videos. We want it to be real and for you guys to see the real reaction. It's super fun and it's been a blast. It's been such a dream job."

While Thiessen has been an actor for decades, it's only recently that the public has learned about her passion for cooking. In fact, her love for the culinary world is something that has been in her life for a long time. While Thiessen is excited about the work she's doing now on "Deliciousness," she's proud of the career she's built over several decades.

"I love what I do and I've continued to have a passion to be in it," said Thiessen. "I've also really tried to open my eyes to other things like being able to open myself up in the food world. 30 years ago, that was never really an option. That's been really fun. I feel extremely blessed and fortunate that I've been able to stay in this business as long as I have. I'm no spring chicken, but I do still have that drive."

Watch " Deliciousness " tonight on MTV.

Deliciousness is back for a second season!

Hosted by Tiffani Thiessen , the Ridiculousness spinoff -- in which she and panelists Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell and Tim Chantarangsu celebrate the funniest food moments on the internet -- will be back with more episodes. Before the new season drops, Deliciousness returns for another one-week special event on Monday, March 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Ahead of the show's debut in December, Thiessen admitted that she had no choice but to say "yes" to the show. As she told her husband and special ET guest correspondent Brady Smith in a special 1-1, she had a hard time turning down the gig.

"When I got the call about looking into doing this show called Deliciousness , that was a spinoff of one of your favorite shows, Ridiculousness , you said to me, 'You better do this new show or we're getting divorced,'" Thiessen revealed with a laugh.

"I would have never divorced you," quipped Smith, with Thiessen noting, "No, [but] you were like, 'Oh my gosh, babe. You gotta do this show!'"

"And I was like, 'I know this is the show that you love so much.' And then it's basically your favorite show but all food which is so my thing," she added. "So I, of course, had to sign up and it's been one of the best jobs, hands down, that I've had in a very long time."

Thiessen has been a longtime foodie and loves being in the kitchen, cooking for her husband and their two children; daughter Harper and son Holt. Her love of cooking came from when she was a little girl, making meals with her mother.

"I grew up in a family of women who all loved to cook. I was that little girl who wanted to be in the kitchen with my mom and my aunt and my grandmother," she recalled. "All in there having a good time, and when I was old enough, I was invited in to start cooking and now I do all the cooking."

Of course, she herself, has had her own kitchen blunders like in the funny clips viewers see on Deliciousness .

"I've had my fails," she shared. "I've had things that have happened. I've burnt things before, that's normal. I'm not some crazy perfectionist type of person…One time on Dinner at Tiffani 's when the lemon oil had kind of spewed over, I don't know if you were there that day, but I started a fire and I didn't even know it!"

"What I love about Deliciousness , we've got a show that is funny," she noted. "You and I can cuddle up, [have] a little cocktail, laugh our butts off, watch the show."

As she kicked off a new project, she had also wrapped another one. Thiessen reprised her role as Kelly Kapowski  on the Saved by the Bell reboot, which premiered in November on Peacock.

"Tracey [Wigfield], who created the show, has done an amazing job. It's funny, it's witty, but it has a ton of heart and the new kids are amazing," she expressed. "They're super, super talented and for me, personally, it was fun to go back and play Kelly and work with Mark-Paul [Gosselaar] and deal with the whole Zack-Kelly thing. It was actually a lot of fun."

Thiessen recalled being 15 years old when the show premiered in 1989. Now, she sees the new generation of actors taking over the series and believes they are at a much better age to handle fame and success than when she started.

"Most of these kids are actually older because back then you actually played your age," she shared. "Nowadays these kids are playing younger than they are, so they probably can handle the pressure of fame probably a lot easier than maybe say we did. Not that we didn't handle it well. I think I had a family that was very structured and very supportive. But it's a lot to take in."

"I think the reaction from the reboot of Saved by the Bell has been good," the actress noted, adding, "I definitely think it takes the nostalgic part of the original and really brings in a fresh, new sense of newness really into the show."

MTV ’s “Deliciousness,” a spinoff of “Ridiculousness” hosted by Tiffani Thiessen , features the internet’s most viral food videos and Variety has obtained an exclusive clip of two segments, “BBQ AF” and “31 Feelings” about barbecue and ice cream.

The clip shows Thiessen and the panelists reacting to barbecue fails, such as a possum family living in a grill and a viral video of a grill cook complaining about how there’s no cheese at any of the functions he attends. Meanwhile, the ice cream segment highlights our love for the dessert, featuring entertaining clips of a child’s elation when they try ice cream for the first time and misery when they drop a cone, as well as the lengths one will go to catch an ice cream truck.

The series, which features panelists Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell and Tim Chantarangsu, debuted Monday to positive ratings and will continue airing its holiday-themed kickoff week through Dec. 18.

The show builds on the popularity of “Ridiculousness” hosted by Rob Dyrdek, which remains popular on MTV nearly 10 years into its run. “Ridiculousness” serves as the lead in to “Deliciousness,” with both strip shows airing outside primetime on MTV while managing solid ratings. According to a source with knowledge of the situation, plans are in the works to possibly expand the franchise further with other themed shows.

Popular on Variety

“Ridiculousness” and “Deliciousness” are produced by Superjacket Productions, a subsidiary of Thrill One Sports & Entertainment, and Gorilla Flicks.

Things to do, tv and streaming | my worst moment: tiffani thiessen and the bond girl moment that never was.

tiffani amber thiessen mtv

“It’s a spinoff of a very popular show on MTV called ‘Ridiculousness,’ which my husband is a huge fan of, so when I told him I was doing this he was super excited. It’s like a goofier version of ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos,’ that same sort of feel. You can binge watch it, it doesn’t take a lot of energy. It’s one of those shows where you can sit on the couch with a cocktail or a glass of wine with your loved ones and laugh your butt off.”

Because we’re all spending more time at home cooking thanks to the pandemic, she said, “I have a feeling we’re going to have a plethora of great food fail videos coming for future seasons.”

Thiessen became a household name as a teen on the original “Saved by the Bell” (she also returns in a small role in the reboot ) and later on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” both iconic shows for Gen-Xers and Millennials.

It was during this period in her career that she began contemplating a shift, but things didn’t work out the way she hoped. When asked to share a worst moment, this is the story she told: “People think we’re model perfect and a lot of time I think this business showcases just the good stuff, but there are many, many difficult things.”

My worst moment …

“I’ve been in this business since I was young. I started doing commercials and modeling when I was eight or nine. I was a kid; my daughter’s 10 and sometimes it’s crazy to look at her and think, ‘Wow, that’s when I started doing what I still do now.’ And then the bigger things started coming when I was 14 and 15. I had done guest starring roles but my first big break was of course ‘Saved By the Bell’ and I had just turned 15.

“This experience I’m going to tell you about, it hit me hard. So hard that I decided to take a break for a little bit.

tiffani amber thiessen mtv

“I auditioned for a James Bond film and I wanted this job more than anything for two reasons. One, I thought it was going to change my career in a great direction. And two, I was a massive James Bond fan. Massive . Like, I thought every James Bond film was amazing and I thought every woman that got to be in a James Bond film was the coolest. So I was like, that’s what I want.

“It was a classic Bond girl role: Beautiful women who are sexy and smart and they get to be badasses. It was everything I wanted to be. Pierce Brosnan was the James Bond. So I get the opportunity to audition and go back for many callbacks and then I tested, and it was between me and two other actresses and I didn’t get it. Of course, I didn’t get it. Denise Richards got the role. The movie was ‘The World is Not Enough’ (from 1999). And it hit me so extremely hard because I wanted it so bad.

“And I learned something from that. Since then, I’ve tried not to want anything so badly. There’s a lot of disappointment in this business because you are auditioning most of the time against a lot of people. Generally you don’t get the part; based on the percentages, you’re probably not going to get it. But I wanted this so bad, which made it so much harder.”

This happened just as Thiessen was finishing her run on “Beverly Hills 90210.” A Bond movie would have been a departure from that and “Saved By the Bell”: Playing a fully adult character.

“I saw it as my jump into film. And back then, if you remember, TV actors didn’t really translate into film all that much. But (“90210” producer) Aaron Spelling told me something a long time ago, this was when the show was a huge hit: More people on Wednesdays watched ‘90210’ than had seen ‘Forest Gump,’ which was the big movie at the time. And it was really amazing for me to wrap my head around that analogy. That more people were tuning in each week to a TV show then had gone to the movie theater to watch a huge movie. That was crazy to me, but he was right.

“Even so, I thought this James Bond film would be my transition. The transition that we all talked about as TV people at the time. So I had a lot wrapped up into it.

“I was devastated. And I remember getting in my car and driving to the beach and I literally sat there by myself. I think I was there for hours, just needing to be alone. I’m very much a person who processes big things on my own.

Tiffani Thiessen had her eye on landing a role in a James Bond film, in the hopes of transitioning from TV to film.

“I had been able to take rejection before this and handle it pretty well. This was the first time that it didn’t sit well with me and I was having a hard time with it. I’m a pretty strong person and I feel like I can take on a lot. And this is the first time I felt weak.

“So I kind of took a break. I got invited to a friend’s wedding in Montana and I ended up spending the whole summer there. I was like, I don’t know if I’m coming back. Of course I did. But I wasn’t even thinking about my career. I was thinking, what if I just stay in Montana and start making jam or open a restaurant? My mom was so cute, she was like, ‘OK honey, whatever you need. I know you’ll be back.’

“But it was serious. I almost bought property there. I wanted to be as far away from Hollywood as possible. I didn’t want to put makeup on; I wanted to feel like no matter what I looked like or what I did, it didn’t matter, that I was just in the woods somewhere living a normal life.

“I eventually came back to California because my family is here. Hollywood is my home, it’s where I grew up. And my best friend was literally like, ‘I know this was hard for you but for whatever reason, this was not the movie for you.’ And he was right. I just needed that time.”

The takeaway …

“Learning how to stay focused on something that you want, but know that it’s not always up to you, even though you may give it 110%. There is a path that sometimes you can’t change. There’s something very freeing about that. If it’s not working out and it doesn’t go my way, it’s not that I didn’t give it my all, it’s that it wasn’t meant to be.

“So I came back from Montana and I kept at it. And I’m still doing it (laughs) all these years later.”

Tiffani Thiessen and Brady Smith have been married since 2005, and their near two-decade relationship is stronger than ever.

According to a 2019 interview with Yahoo Lifestyle , the pair met while working on set for a TV show, and sparks started to fly almost immediately.

Even though Smith claims to be smitten with the Saved By The Bell starlet, he insisted that Thiessen actually made the first move. Admittedly, Smith arranged their first date, but Thiessen took it from there.

“Obviously I wanted to kiss her, but I wasn’t gonna be that dude that tries to kiss on the first date. But then she leaned in and laid one on me,” Smith told Yahoo . “And I don’t even remember the drive home."

“Baby, you just swept me off my feet,” Thiessen added in jest. “What can I say?”

So, who is Tiffani Thiessen’s husband? Here's everything to know about Brady Smith and his relationship with the actress .

Smith works as an actor

Dominik Bindl/Getty

Thiessen is easily recognized from her iconic roles on Saved By The Bell , Beverly Hills 90210 , A Killer Among Friends and more, but Smith is also an actor.

He has appeared in shows like CSI Vegas , It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia , Parks and Recreation and others.

In fact, the husband and wife even appeared together in an episode of White Collar in 2011.

He has an artistic side

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic

Before getting into acting, Smith put his other artistic skills to use.

In an interview with The Jason Wright Show , Smith revealed that before moving to Los Angeles, he started an illustration and design company called Brady Smith Creative in Houston, Texas.

In addition, he began showing his personal paintings in local galleries and restaurants for seven years before packing things up and moving to L.A. to give an acting career a real shot.

Now, Smith gets the best of both worlds by working as an artist and an actor.

He created a thoughtful proposal

Rebecca Sapp/WireImage

It didn’t take long for the couple to make things official after meeting. Following a year of dating, the couple got engaged.

“I made a book, and I called it The Tiffani & Brady Chronicles ,” Smith told Yahoo! . “Each page was trips we’ve taken, stuff that we had done together, special sweet moments. And then on the last page, I drew myself down on one knee proposing. And then when she got to that page, she looked up and I got down on one knee and proposed."

Thiessen and Smith wed in 2005

Chris Polk/FilmMagic

On July 9, 2005, the Beverly Hills 90210 alum married Smith at a private estate in Montecito, California.

Thiessen wore a French lace gown by Vera Wang, and Smith was fully clad in Kenneth Cole.  Their garden ceremony was small and intimate, full of close friends and family.

The day was so special that 15 years later Thiessen and Smith recreated the celebration in their backyard.

They share two kids

Gregg DeGuire/WireImage

The pair share two kids, a daughter, Harper, and a son, Holt.

PEOPLE featured the family’s unconventional holiday card in 2022. The front of the card highlighted a goofy picture of the family of four, while the back featured a small blurb about each member.

Under Harper, the blurb detailed that she "started a new school this fall" and is "a whiz at making friendship bracelets which came in handy with all the new friends she has made."

Following in her mother’s footsteps, she also managed to land the starring role in her school's production of Rambo .

Holt’s blurb offered similar info. "Holt has been hunting frogs and setting small fires in our neighbor's yard. Boy, this kid has spunk," it read.

They wrote a book together

Michael Tullberg/Getty

In 2019, Thiessen and Smith put their creative energies together and co-authored a children’s book, titled You’re Missing It .

Inspiration for the book came from the couple’s real life, when Thiessen noticed that her husband was spending too much time focused on his phone rather than their children.

"That's a conversation that's probably very much in the forefront in many households these days, and it's definitely been one of ours," Thiessen told USA Today in 2019 .

They prioritize family time

Tiffani Thiessen Instagram

Both the MTV host and the actor cherish their family time and try to make the most of ordinary moments, like spending time at the dinner table or swinging on the swing.

“Dinner time is sacred, special. There’s no electronics. We sit down and we’re like, ‘How was your day?’ This is time to catch up and communicate,” Smith explained to Yahoo Lifestyle . “We think technology is a wonderful thing. Sometimes it’s too much."

He’s a thoughtful gift giver

Paul Archuleta/FilmMagic

In addition to being an attentive father, Smith has proven himself an exceptional gift giver.

“My husband swung it out of the park a few years ago,” the author and host once told Page Six Style .

“He surprised me by taking me down to the Porsche Experience, where you get to race a Porsche on the race track,” she gushed. “A lot of people don’t know this about me, but I love race cars. If I were to believe there were past lives, I think I must have been a race car driver.”

The actress added that she loved the gift so much that she has encouraged Smith to give it to her again and again.

If the Internet had a thermometer, the thing would be blowin' up right about now, thanks to Tiffani Amber Thiessen. The sexy starlet, known best for playing Kelly Kapowski on "Saved By The Bell," was every boy's first crush in the 90s, and Bayside's most beautiful cheerleader is still making 'em drool. Look out, Fishel, the Maxim Hot 10o list has plenty of room for teenage fantasies!

While Mario Lopez gave us a peek of his  cheeks over the holidays, Tiffani reminds us the "SBTB" men are not the only ones who have aged well. The 38-year-old siren showcased her bodacious curves for MIMP ("Me In My Place"), a site where women take candid shots with a naughty twist inside their homes. All this cyber sexiness sure helps plead Mark-Paul Gosselaar's case for a "Saved By The Bell" reunion ! With such a stunning cast, how could we  not tune in?!

Tiffani Thiessen Opens Up About Her Biggest Parenting Challenge: ‘Middle School Has Been Really Hard’ (Exclusive)

Tiffani Thiessen Opens Up About Her Biggest Parenting Challenge Middle School Has Been Really Hard

Tiffani Thiessen is getting candid about the biggest parenting challenge she has been facing while raising her two kids.

“Middle school has been really hard, not my daughter specifically, but I remember middle school being super, super hard,” Thiessen, 50, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, May 9, while promoting her partnership with Welly, in which she joined forces with the brand to create the “Happy Campers” kit, a special collections of essentials to help kids thrive during sleepaway camp while giving parents peace of mind.

She continued, “I think it’s probably been, at least a chapter for the last couple years, the hardest because middle school is really just weird. It’s icky. It’s, like, lots of different emotions.”

Thiessen, who shares daughter Harper, 13, and son Holt, 8, with husband Brady Smith , went on to explain how Harper had to start a new school for junior high and make new friends – which was challenging.

“It wasn’t so much it was difficult for me, I think it was more difficult to see her kind of try to figure out all of that,” the Saved by the Bell alum explained, adding that she’s “very lucky” to have a daughter who is big on communication. “We have a very open relationship. And so I appreciate that and know that that was helpful for her too as much as it was for me.”

While Thiessen hasn’t had too many parenting struggles, she did face some criticism from Harper after she watched Saved by the Bell for the first time.

“Harper at the beginning of the pandemic decided to go through and watch the entire Saved by the Bell series and everything and it was funny to walk in the room every now and then and see an episode,” she shared with Us. “Afterwards, I was like, ‘So, what did you think? And she goes, ‘Mom, TV was not as good as it is now.’”

Despite a few hiccups along the way, Thiessen has also had some major parenting wins lately.

“My daughter just left for sleep away [camp] at her school,” she shared. “Harper left and Holt was like, ‘No, no, one more hug,’ and just said, ‘Sissy I wish I could go with you.’ You know it’s stuff like that, those are the little wins that probably mean the most to me.”

Thiessen noted that despite their five-year age difference, seeing sentimental moments between her daughters make her feel like she and her husband are succeeding at parenting.

“We’re doing something right like the fact that they truly do love each other so much,” she gushed. “That’s a win that I really appreciate.”

As Harper and Holt are both heading off to summer camp this year, Thiessen feels more prepared after partnering with Welly to create the “Happy Campers Kit.”

“This will actually be the first year that both of my kids are going to sleepaway camp. [My daughter] has actually [been] going to sleepaway camp for quite a few years. She’s very seasoned,” she explained to Us . “But my son is very different. He’s much more sensitive, [he] has a little anxiety. … So I think it was really cool that we kind of created this really cool ‘Happy Campers Kit’ to sort of help both sides.”
