3. Schwarzman Scholarship

The Schwarzman Scholarship is a fully-funded graduate degree program for international students. The program was established in 2016 and designed to meet the challenges of the 21st century and beyond. The number of awards is usually between 100 – 200. IELTS isn’t mandatory as this scholarship requires.

It is being hosted by Tsinghua University. The school is one of the major public research institutions in China. It was established in 1911. It has up to 51, 000 enrolled students and is currently ranked 15th best university in the world in the QS World University Rankings.

 4. Gates Cambridge Scholarship

Gates Cambridge Scholarship is a fully-funded graduate program that doesn’t require IELTS. 5. NCTU Scholarships

6. Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Scholarships

This scholarship is fully funded by Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Arabia. It is open for international students who want to pursue undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., and post-doctoral studies.

Spencer T. and Ann W. Olin Fellowship for Women in Graduate Study

This Fellowship – co-sponsored by the University and the Monticello College Foundation – is especially created to encourage more women to take up graduate study, and serve society afterwards.

The successful recipients will receive an annual stipend worth US$36,720 and a US$600 travel award besides full tuition remission throughout their programme.

PhD Scholarship 6: University of Minnesota Twin Cities

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities is well recognised as one of the most famous public research universities in the US. Over 50,000 students study at this university, which spans five campuses including the main Twin Cities campus.

The Diversity of Views and Experiences (DOVE) Fellowship Programme is available for exceptional research graduate students with diverse life and educational backgrounds who are underrepresented within graduate programmes.

A stipend of US$40,000 for 12 months, tuition and required fees, an allowance for student medical insurance, and US$2,000 for miscellaneous expenses make up this generous funding package; the deadline is Jan. 24, 2022.

PhD Scholarship 8: University of Oregon

As a Tier-One National Public Research University and being the top public university in Oregon (for first-year retention and graduation rates), the University of Oregon attracts over 22,000 students. It has nine schools and colleges. 

The International Cultural Service Programme is an annual tuition waiver scholarship ranging from US$9,000 to US$35,000 for up to 15 credits per term. Winners are required to do cultural service in the form of presentations about their home country to children, community organisations and the university’s students and faculty.

PhD Scholarships 9 and 10: East-West Centre

The East-West Centre , established by the US Congress in 1960, is a nonprofit organisation acting as a US-based institution for public diplomacy in the Indo-Pacific region. Located adjacent to the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM), the centre’s Honolulu campus spans 21 acres.

English as the main subject:

If you have a degree that is also equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen where you studied English as the main subject, they have a chance to pursue their higher education in the study without IELTS. There is also another condition that if you require more than one degree in order to meet the criteria of getting a degree which is equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen, English has to be the main subject in both degrees. For example, a 2-year bachelor's program and a 2-year master's program.

60 credits EU/EEA or Switzerland:

Those students can study in Sweden without IELTS who have scored 60 ECTS(European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credits or such credits that are equivalent to it from EU/EEA country or Switzerland, it is also noted that the language of instruction of the course should be English also in previously mentioned countries. In all official documents or results etc, the language of instruction should be visibly mentioned. It is further noted that the credits that we are talking about must not be from introductory level English courses or preparatory programs.

60 credits other countries:

Such students who have scored approx. 60 ECTS from Australia, USA, Jamaica, New Zealand, or other English-speaking parts of Canada are fulfilling the requirements for English without IELTS results. Again it should be a must condition that English must be the language of instruction. One more condition should also be considered here as described early that these credits must not be from introductory level English courses or preparatory programs.

African countries:

Those students also fulfill the requirements necessary for the English language to study in one of the top universities in Sweden, who have scored a 3-year bachelor's degree program which is equal to Swedish kandidatexamen from the mentioned countries. For this conddition, eligible countries are The Gambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Eritrea, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, Malawi, Lesotho, Ethiopia, Swaziland, Ghana, Zambia.

India and Pakistan:

Such students can also study in sweden without IELTS who are belong to Pakistan and India and have achieved bachelors or undergraduate degree program that should be equal to Swedish Kandidatexamen in different fields Natural Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Medicine, Computer Applications, Technology and be noted that medium of instruction should be English. AN undergradaute degree in Information Technology or Bachelor's of Technology from pakistan will not lie for the English language requirements in Sweden.
