Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project and program team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas

Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors and university stakeholders

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and program team

Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication

Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards

Manage project and program issues and risks to mitigate impact to baseline

Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices

3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle

  • Evaluates healthcare business opportunities and potential profitability
  • Possesses knowledge in OSHPD and experience in utilizing CA Title 24 code strategies
  • Complement the existing SCL Project Management team in the planning, budgeting and implementation of capital improvements, particularly those projects pertaining to MEP and building enclosure systems
  • Address long term operating considerations, including safety, reliability and ease of maintenance
  • Are capable of integrating with existing facilities and mechanical systems in a reliable and code compliant manner
  • Evaluate life-cycle cost considerations when planning capital and infrastructure projects
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis to support the replacement of existing infrastructure
  • Project management, construction management, project controls (cost and schedule), knowledge of e-Builder or similar platform
  • Professional registration (PE, RA, PMP, CCM, PSP) preferred but not required
  • Florida healthcare facilities construction experience is preferred although not required
  • Knowledge of Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) process and standards
  • Registered Architect/Engineer preferred but not required
  • Advance knowledge of the construction industry, risk management and field operations required
