This paper emphasizes the MATLAB-based medical image processing tools. It includes the theoretical background and examples. Through MATLAB, this paper makes the introduction of the post-imaging quality in medical technology and medical imaging. It also introduces the medical image processing technology and describes the image processing and processing technologies, including the organ contours, interpolation, filtering, and segmentation techniques. In medicine, the DICOM image data processing using MATLAB is also widely used in this type of image processing.

This paper presents the full dynamics and control of arbitrary number of quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) transporting a rigid body. The rigid body is connected to the quadrotors via flexible cables where each flexible cable is modeled as a system of arbitrary number of serially connected links. It is shown that a coordinate-free form of equations of motion can be derived for the complete model without any simplicity assumptions that commonly appear in other literature, according to Lagrangian mechanics on a manifold. A geometric nonlinear controller is presented to transport the rigid body to a fixed desired position while aligning all of the links along the vertical direction. A rigorous mathematical stability proof is given and the desirable features of the proposed controller are illustrated by numerical examples and experimental results. [DOI: 10.1115/1.4033945]

Content and colour-based image/image retrieval (CBIR) is a prominent work in the field of image processing nowadays, As many of the applications require image extraction whether, in the field of advertisement, database searching, criminal records, education, commerce, military, searching, biomedicine and web image classification. Here we propose an image retrieval system, which uses the primary image features like colour, shape and texture information to form the feature vectors. These primary features take out using various algorithms that are useful to obtain similarity check into images. It describes the result using MATLAB software application, with a local image database. It utilizes the feature of colour, texture and shape of the database images for comparison purpose and further for obtaining of image and it including relevance. Local Binary Pattern, Histogram intersection, Fourier descriptors are used to perform feature matching. This framework integrates the YCbCr colour histogram which represents the global feature and Fourier descriptor as a local descriptor to enhance the retrieval results.
