Sant’Anna PhD Scholarship – Sant’Anna Ph.D. Scholarship 2022 invites potential students to achieve Ph.D. scholarship in Management of innovation, health care, and sustainability. For the 36th cycle of Ph.D. programmes introduced by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies has announced 66 new openings for meritorious students. The last date to apply for the same was 03 rd September 2022. Below you can get the major highlights of the scheme:
The complete course duration is 3 years, where students will be benefited from 14,000 euros per year, including tuition fees, social security charges, and one meal at the school canteen per day.
The course aims at training scholars capable of critical thinking and innovative research in their respective fields of interest, at the forefront of the international debate.

Under the ICHR Junior Research Fellowship 2022 scheme , students will be benefited with the fellowship amount of ₹ 17,600 per month + a contingency grant of ₹ 16,500 per annum for the duration of 2 years. For the 2022 session, the application dates are not officially declared by the authorized committee. However, it is likely to be out in the mid-week of December 2022.
Candidates belonging to the General Category should pay the examination fee of the ₹ 200. It should be paid in the form of the DD paid in favour of the DDO, ICHR (payable at Delhi).
At the time of online application, candidates need to submit the list of following documents, which includes DOB, Experience Certificate, and Educational Qualification Certificates as a proof.

Before you apply, you need to make sure you’re submitting the best possible application. There’s a few things you’ll need to include, and you can find them in our handy application checklist.

Once your application is ready, you need to choose the right time in the MBA application cycle to give yourself the best possible chance of success.

When is the best time to apply for fall 2022?

The MBA application cycle is typically divided into several application rounds .

Most US business schools have three or four application rounds, with start dates in fall 2022, although start dates and application rounds can vary outside the United States.

Others take applications on a rolling basis, with one final deadline. Columbia Business School , for example, has one final deadline in April 2022.

The above table includes deadlines for the 25 top MBA programs ranked by the Financial Times as well as the M7 Business Schools .

Early Action (EA) Round

Some business schools have an Early Action (EA), or Early Decision, round. If you’re decided on your number one target school and it offers an EA round, this is when you should apply.

Early application shows that you would take that school’s acceptance above all others. Some schools also offer tuition fee discounts if you apply early.

EA rounds aside, round one is when every place in the cohort is up for grabs and it means admissions staff have seen fewer applicants when they assess your application. Round one also offers better scholarship opportunities.

“Apply in the early rounds of the admissions cycle, not just to have better chance of securing a place on the program, but also to show commitment and dedication, which will allow you to have better access to different types of scholarships and funding sources,” advises Amir Michael, MBA director at the UK’s Durham University Business School.

For international candidates who have the added difficulty of sorting out a visa and accommodation, it’s also best to apply in round one to give yourself as much time as possible.

If you’re applying for an MBA starting fall 2022, most first round deadlines are in September 2021. Some schools extend into early October.

You’ll still have a good chance of success applying in round two, as there will still be places left on your chosen program. Applying later may also give you more time to perfect your application.

Round two deadlines for fall 2022 vary, with most in December 2021 or January 2022.

While you’re advised to apply in rounds one or two, it’s still possible to secure a place at your chosen school with a round three application. “There is no one-size-fits-all approach to which round is best. It depends on the school and the candidate,” says MBA admissions consultant Stacy Blackman.

To be successful in round three you’ll have to provide a quality application, and you’ll also have to show how you can bring diversity to the cohort.

The round three MBA applications deadlines for most schools this cycle come up in March or April 2022.

Some schools offer more rounds, University of Cambridge Judge and IESE Business School both offer two extra application rounds, while Spain’s ESADE Business School has eight rounds running until June 2022.

When should you start preparing your MBA application?

Now that you know when to apply, you need to start thinking about when you’ll begin your preparation. You may ask yourself: When should I take the GMAT?

You should aim to take the GMAT at least three months before you apply as this leaves time to retake should something go wrong. This means you should begin revising six months before the application deadline.

As you begin your revision you should also start considering how you’re going to promote yourself in your application. “Genuine, deep reflection that brings out your stories of leadership, growth, impact, and accomplishment is the only way to differentiate yourself,” says Petia Whitmore, founder of admissions consulting firm My MBA Path.

Over the next couple of months you should continue honing your application story and begin working on your MBA resume .

At least two months before submitting your application, after taking the GMAT, you should reach out to the people writing your letters of recommendation . Make sure they understand the story you’re putting forward in your application, and how they can fit within it.

Four weeks out, latest, you should finalize your essay answers and make sure your letters of recommendation are ready. The last thing to do is get somebody else to check over all your material before you apply.

How many schools should you apply to for your MBA?

You should only apply to business schools which suit your goals and interests. You also need to consider the acceptance rates of the schools you’re applying to: Stanford GSB, Harvard Business School, and MIT Sloan may seem a good fit but they also accept less than 15 percent of applicants.

You should look at applying to two or three safer options, which you’d still be happy to attend, who have acceptance rates above 30 percent.

Next, you’ll want to apply to between three and five schools with lower acceptance rates, but where your application makes you a competitive candidate.

Your dream school may only accept around 10 percent of candidates, but you should still apply provided you’ve sent off applications elsewhere.

Candidates who have successfully submitted their online admission fees can apply for hostel by clicking on "Apply for hostel" link under "candidate activity". No additional fee will be charged from the students. Candidates need to take the final printout of the hostel application form for future reference. There is no need to submit the final printout of hostel application form at the hostel.
If the final printout of your online hostel application form is showing incorrect entrance marks, then you are requested to kindly login back to the online hostel portal using your User ID and password, and download the final prinout of your hostel application form once again.
To recover your USER ID and Password:- Go to Forget User Id Or Password Option and Enter your High School Mark Sheet No. and select your Course. Your User ID and Password will be displayed on the screen.
All the candidates uploading photo, signature should be in jpg format and size of each file should not be more than 20KB.
While making online payment for entrance test once payment is made, it is necessary to ensure the Payment Status of SUCCESS/FAILURE after Login again and GO TO PAYMENT, Select Your PAYMENT MODE and click on CONTINUE FOR PAYMENT and Check PAYMENT STATUS.
In case of payment failure when made through debit or credit card, Kindly Contact to the customer care number written on the backside of that debit or credit card in order to intimate the details of the failed payment.
After last Date of submission of Application form, Students will be given three days time to EDIT/MODIFY their filled up Entries. All admissions shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination to be conducted by University, except the following:

Admissions to B.Tech. Programmes (except B.Tech. Food Tech.) shall be made by the University on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Examination through the counseling carried out by Uttarakhand Technical University.
Admissions to DBT supported Master’s programme (M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology) shall be made through online counseling from the list of qualified candidates received from DBT Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad, which is responsible for conducting Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) for admission to the above said programmes throughout the country.
Admission to Ph.D. programmes in Agronomy and Plant Pathology for Other State candidates shall be made through ICAR entrance examination only. Candidates belonging to other states need not apply for Pantnagar entrance examination in the mentioned disciplines of Agronomy and Plant Pathology. Whereas, admissions to other Ph.D. programmes for Other State candidates are made through the university entrance examination as well as entrance examination conducted by ICAR for this purpose. In case, domicile candidates of Uttarakhand are not available for the sanctioned seats, the same shall be filled from amongst candidates of Other States and Vice-Versa.
Admission to Masters’ programmes in MBA/MBA (Agribusiness) shall be made through CAT and CMAT score and Group Discussion and an Interview conducted by the University. The entire admission process for MBA/MBA (Agribusiness) will be conducted by College of Agribusiness Management (CABM) of the university.
In M.Tech. programmes, admission shall be made first based on the GATE qualifying marks in the subject (Major) in which admission is sought. Vacant seats shall be filled based on OGPA/percentage (%) of marks of B.Tech. The candidate should have secured at least an OGPA of not less than 6.000/10.000 or 3.000/5.000 or 55% marks in aggregate in case of the Institutions/ Universities where these scales are not applicable in the Bachelor’s degree. However, admission towards seats for Other State candidates in M.Tech. Agricultural Engineering majors shall be made through Entrance Examination conducted by ICAR. In case, domicile candidates of Uttarakhand are not available for the sanctioned seats, the same shall be filled from amongst candidates of Other States.
Admissions to MCA programme shall be made on the basis of separate Entrance Examination to be conducted by the University. In case, a candidate wants to appear for other Masters’ programmes in addition to MCA, he/she has to fill separate application form.
Candidates other than Bonafide residents of Uttarakhand are not eligible to fill up application form for admission to the Undergraduate and Masters’ Degree programmes in the University. However, the wards of J& K Residents and wards of Kashmiri Migrants as well as Kashmiri Pandits residing in Kashmir valley may apply for admission to UG programmes only. Other State seats of UG (except B.V.Sc. & A.H.) and Masters’ programmes are filled up through the examination conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The list of candidates for filling up other state seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. is provided by Veterinary Council of India (VCI). Other State candidates’ interested seeking admission for the said programmes may contact the concerned authorities through the websites of ICAR or VCI, as the case may be.

Admissions in College of Technology, Pantnagar

Admission for B.Tech. (Agricultural Engg., Civil Engg., Computer Engg. Electronics & Communication Engg., Electrical Engg., Information Technology, Industrial & Production Engg. & Mechanical Engg.) will be based on the JEE Mains 2023 ranking, by the counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun. Admission in College of Technology, G.B. Pant University of Ag. and Technology, Pantnagar will be held by online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.
Still no dates are decided that from which date the online counseling will start. Visit their website https://uktech.ac.in/ regularly the update.
You have to register at that time when online counseling starts. At present no registration etc is required everything will be done after the notification appears on Uttarakhand Technical University web site for online counseling.
Seat allotment will be based on JEE Mains rank or 10+2 marks. Preference will be given to JEE Mains rank holders.
No prediction could be done from your JEE mains cutoffs because seats will be allotted when All India rank will be declared for JEE Mains exam.
Following seats of B Tech will be filled through this online counseling, Agricultural Engineering (only for Uttarakhand Candidates, for All India candidates it will be through ICAR exam), Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Biotechnology.
For the admission in above branches you must have PCM in 10+2 level.
85% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand candidates and 15% seats are for All India Candidates.
For any reserved seat in Uttarakhand quota Domicile certificate is required, you must prepare that if you are not having. For general Uttarakhand seat this certificate is not required.
Admission in lateral entry will be through the on-line counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun based upon Diploma merit. Preference will be given to the completed diploma candidates.
Lateral seats are only for Uttarakhand candidates.
This all information is provided you as per the practices adopted in previous years. This year if some changes are there you can get that information when the online counseling notice appears on Uttarakhand Technical University website.
Online counseling dates has not been decided yet. It will be decided by Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun, so you have to visit that site regularly for this information. No information regarding date I am having at present.

B.Tech. Biotechnology Admissions 2020

Admission to College of Technology

B.Tech admissions will be through state online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Visit their site for online counseling information. Admissions will be based on JEE Mains Rank and 10+2 percentage (Preference will be given to JEE Mains Rank holders). 85% seats are for Uttarakhand candidates and 15% seats are All India seats. For admission the participation in online counseling is desired prior to that no need to fill any admission form. For B.Tech. Lateral Entry admissions, admission will be based on their qualifying exam percentage. These admission will also be through online counseling conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

Admission to College of Technology in MCA Programme is made through Entrance Exam Conducted by Admission Committee of the University.

Admission to other colleges of the university

Admission to other colleges of the university are made based on the Competitive Entrance Examination. The details are publicized through advertisement in the newspapers and the university website. The admission notice and prospectus can be accessed through the links given below.

Full-time, part-time and online options offer flexibility, accessibility.

Emerging and growing professionals have multiple pathways toward earning a Master of Business Administration at the Carl H. Lindner College of Business. By assessing their needs, time commitments and career goals, professionals at all levels can choose from a full-time cohort learning experience, a working professionals part-time degree program or an online MBA option.

An MBA is an ideal addition to the resume of a professional seeking to advance in management positions and become a more effective leader. With a diverse array of learning outcomes related to all primary business functions, professionals in any field or discipline can benefit from obtaining an advanced business degree.

“It's a degree to help individuals become better managers. This is for teachers who want to become principals. Nurses who want to become department heads. Doctors who want to start their own practice or have a unit within hospital. Full-time, cohort MBA program

The full-time, cohort MBA program allows individuals to form close connections with their fellow students as they progress through their degree program. Designed as a one-year program, the full-time MBA option is ideal for those willing to temporarily step away from their career to dedicate time to their professional development. Although heavily structured, the program offers some flexibility for students in terms of the electives they choose to complement their coursework. Note, admission to the full-time program is only offered for the fall semester.

What drew you to Lindner?

Being a Lindner grad comes with a rich alumni network that I consider very valuable. I have a number of friends who are alumni of the college and have spoken highly of their experiences. I also honestly just love the new building design, and it felt like the icing on the cake. It's an inspiring space with world-class facilities.

Why did you choose to pursue an MBA?

I started working in the social media/marketing space within the classical music world and became curious about different career avenues in business. I felt an MBA would be the perfect curriculum to get a holistic understanding for business along with some hard skills and exposure to real-world experience.

What made the full-time, cohort program right for you?

The cohort program was a no-brainer. Especially after the COVID era, I was eager to be in a collaborative education environment. I really appreciate the continuity in the full-time program and the opportunities for teamwork and growth alongside my peers, similarly to colleagues in a work setting.

How do you anticipate earning an MBA will advance your career and/or professional goals?

I can already speak to the fact that the MBA has massively widened my perspective on the world and has equipped me with the vocabulary to better thrive in a business environment. I think the networking opportunities are equally valuable as the academic enrichment and I'm sure the faculty, student and alumni connections will serve me for a lifetime.

Part-time working professionals MBA program

Those wishing to enter the working professionals part-time MBA program benefit from the same socialization opportunities as the full-time, cohort program while enjoying more flexibility as to how and when they complete their degree requirements. Part-time MBA students may choose to take evening or weekend classes to accommodate their nine-to-five.

The location, value and reputation it carries among the professional community.

Why did you choose to pursue an MBA?

I weighed several reasons:

As a way to satisfy my desire for continuous improvement.
As a veteran, I had remaining GI Bill benefits that I wanted to use.
I wanted to have an MBA as an additional “tool” in my toolbox as it may open doors and opportunities that otherwise might not be available.
As a leader, I feel it's my obligation and responsibility to perfect my craft so that I can, in turn, channel the best work product out of my teams.
Lastly, I have three children at home, and pursuing an MBA allows me to live by example that your education is never finished no matter how old you are.

What made the part-time modality right for you?

I work full-time and travel internationally, so the part-time option was best for me. And did I mention we had three kids?

I hope the MBA will open doors and opportunities for me that otherwise may not have been available. Additionally, the networking opportunities among other students, professors and staff has been a wonderful value add!

Online MBA program

The online MBA program offers the greatest degree of flexibility. Students decide when, where and how they complete their coursework. With all classes taken virtually, this degree option meets the needs of those who wish to earn a degree at their own pace in an accessible format.

What drew you to Lindner?

As a longtime UC employee, I had been contemplating a graduate degree. The ranking and prestige of the Lindner MBA are what drew me to the college as I decided on a graduate pathway.

Why did you choose to pursue an MBA?

The MBA was the best fit for me in my professional progression. I did not have a lot of traditional business education or training, but as my career progressed, I was adding more and more management and oversight responsibilities to my role. I felt that the MBA was the most well-rounded business offering to provide me with the research and educational background to go along with my boots-on-the-ground experience.

What made the online modality right for you?

I have a full-time job, a family, hobbies and volunteer work that occupies much of my time. The flexibility to attend to coursework asynchronously and mold the program around my busy life was really important to me. I was able to connect with faculty members regularly without issue and even group projects were accessible through Zoom and Teams. Simply put, without the online option, I would not have been as successful in the program.

How has earning an MBA helped you to advance your career and/or achieve your professional goals?

The MBA has helped me to better understand the underlying business practices within my division, the university as a whole and external partners and vendors with which we interface. I’ve directly used learnings and coursework from my MBA program in personnel management practices, project planning, organization and communication, and financial management. An MBA provides students with real-world skills that fit in any professional environment. The Lindner MBA provided me with direct practices that I was able to integrate into my day-to-day and make me a better employee, co-worker and manager.
